[This was the condition of the service road till 27th July 07, article by Vinay]
This is the how the road is right in front of our Hewlett-Packard office in Yeswanthpur. The condition is going from bad to worse and still there is no changes being done!!! This photo was taken at 11:00 hrs today and this is the condition from 3-4 months.
What is BDA or BMP doing??
I wish they start travelling in such roads daily. They might understand what we go through.
When this road(so called) is dry, our vehicles takes a mud bath!! Our security guard uses a pollution guard.
Whom should we contact??

what do you expect the BDA to do? They cant sweep the water off the streets, nor can they build an extra large umbrella to protect the roads and the city from the rain.. Think practically.. Lot of things in the city cannot be changed for the reason that Back in the planning days, no one expected this kind of growth.. Now i’m pretty sure you would complain when roads are dug up to make good drains..

Well Jay!! I am not talking about the water logging there. Wait until the same road is dry. What you did not observe in the image is that the road is messed up big time … Come over once you will know better. As for an umbrella!! It is not only bangalore that gets rain…Giving it more thought, i’d say why not patch the road, atleast there wont be water logging like this… As for this, there is a big pot hole there which is full of water..Pepl who dont know it is present there is in danger of an accident which has happened…Now does BDA give a damn about that…will they come over and take care of the injured and pay their medicals??? How much tax do we pay…Buy a car…you pay a min of 15-20 grand tax…Imagine the no. of vehicles sold each day….If they cant provide the best roads atleast patch these kind of roads…JAY!! ONES WHO HAVE BEEN THERE WILL KNOW IT ALL! INJURED ONES WILL KNOW THE PAIN!! WHY ONLY WHEN WE FALL WE SHOULD RAISE OUR VOICE TO THEM IS IT??? WHY NOT NOW!

Well.. All i can say is if you really think they are doing a bad job, step up and join them.. You’ll know how difficult it is to manage a city.. You are not playing AOE or Caesar 3 here..

Well Well… Jay! is this your opinion or just a comment…???
i would like to see how you would react to a situation like this if you were facing the music…
July 24, 2007 at 6:28 AM
Jay!! Nothing comes easy bud…Its how you see things…
How many projects are going in your firm?? Are all working on one or have your distributed the work amongst??? BDA is an huge governing body responsible for mulitple things…If you prioritise things correctly, these hazardous things should be top priority and not give rubbish reasons “how difficult it is to manage a city!!!”
Question: If you dont meet your deadline! will your client or company not question you? Come what may the reason! Reasonable dealines not met! you are in soup bro!! Think about it! Support is good to an extent…supporting lazy and negligence !!!!

I suggest we find ideas on how these things should be forwarded to BDA or whoever is responsible! Bharad how can we do this???

“The BMP have been contacted and have agree to temporarily put asphalt and will upgrade the road as soon as the highway authority is ready to block the road for repairs.”

@ Vinay : i’ll take your points and comments seriously if you ever looked into the aspects of how a govt agency works..
In anycase, how much have you done for the good of the city? Tell me you throw trash only in garbages, follow traffic rules, etc What is expected of you.. Thats the only time when the City can change , by city i mean BDA and BMP whom you blame.. If people stop paying up bribes and own up their offences, then there would be a cleaner channel of working.. Unfortunately, little kids without license want to pay the cop rather than get a notice.. Correct YOURSELF[I mean all of us] then start blaming..
@ Bharad : You know the stories, you’ve read my blog.. There is nothing you or i can do anything about it.. Think about that..
July 26, 2007 at 9:15 AM
@ vinay : See the BMP responded.. NOT TO THIS BLOG post.. To your plea.. You just didnt take the right path the first time around.. If you’ve gone thru my blog, all you see are posts like yours.. But i’m not complaining.. My only goal is to TRY and change people’s thinking..

Well, i wouldnt say it isnt the right path. This is to make an awareness amongst’ pepl. I posted in the BLOG and forwarded it to various pepl. May be commenting and making statements like what the #@$ is BMP is doing? I apologise for that. Well BLOG will help in bringing various thoughts! Like yours and mine…How many pepl just curse and just carry on with their work. We atleast discussed and went another step by contacting whoever is responsible. How many of us say “hodre hogli bidappa” and life moves on…Isn it? Few speak, fall and then say “lets do something”. And we did!!! Enthusiasm!
Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm. GIVE IT A THOUGHT!!
Chao! No Hard feeling bro!
